The studio is official OPEN!!! What a crazy few months it has been building this space! As with any new home, there is still so much to do after the initial “move-in”, but I am so thrilled to say we are open and have started having classes in the new space.

The Earth Studio is looking good! The floors are laid and just waiting until tomorrow to tape them down just before the baseboards are installed!
The Sky studio is looking good too - floors are ready for taping tomorrow. Unfortunately the mirrors won't be delivered until next week, but we can still open without them! :)
The hallway is ready for one more coat of stain on the floors and then sealing & baseboards - all happening tomorrow! And the viewing windows will be installed on Friday.
Here's the awful bathroom situation. Supposedly the 2nd bathroom was just a dummy bathroom and wasn't properly plumbed... so, we had to dig up concrete and tear out BOTH bathrooms to redo the plumbing the correct way. This is the women's bathroom which will be *finished* by tomorrow night (fingers crossed).
And here is the Men's room - this is the one that has given us all the trouble - not only with the plumbing but also because they made the bathroom 1" too short to be ADA compliant, so we had to sacrifice the tile floor and move the wall back. But, it too should be finished by tomorrow night!

The new front office is coming together!
A little glimpse of what we started with…
This is the front office area + you can see a little of the front entry. As you can see, the place was a mess!
The main area was just one big open room, which now will be a hallway and 2 studios.
