Thanks for a great Holiday Performance!
Thank you all for such a wonderful recital! It was thrilling to see my students work diligently over the past semester and then have it culminate into such a beautiful evening! Thank you all for letting me teach your children and giving me the opportunity to continue this semester... I think it will be even better!
Holiday Performance DVDs
The Holiday Performance DVDs are not quite ready yet, but they are on their way. I am hoping to have them to you by the second week of class. I am sorry for the delay - I underestimated my need for relaxing Holiday time with my family!
You can still order a DVD of the performance if you'd like... just fill out this form and bring a check or cash for $5 per DVD to class and I will make you a copy as soon as they are ready. *Please note, unfortunately we had some technical trouble filiming with the last 2 dance numbers (Butterflies and HS Movement) and the last vocalist (Noelle Brooks). They were not able to be taped with our HD camera. We are however obtaining copies of their performances from other videos in the audience and will be inculding them in our DVD, but the angle and quality will differ. |

Tuition - new payment options!
During the fall semester, I unfortunately had several late tuition payments, and it seemed to worsen as the semester went on (in December, more than 1/2 of the studio's tuition wasn't received until after the 2nd week of the month). Currently, I do not have a late payment charge and I do not want to implement one, so please remember to be prompt with your tuition. To help with this, and to accommodate several parents who have expressed interest in paying upfront for the entire semester, I have added some payment options for you to choose from. Feel free to choose the option that best fits your needs, just please remember to be timely with your payment.
- Monthly: $36 monthly at the first class of each month for the 5 months in the Spring semester.
- Two Payments: $90 due no later than the 3rd class of January + $90 due no later than the 3rd class of March.
- Whole Semester: $180 for the entire 5 month semester due no later than Feb 1st.
As a reminder, checks can now be made out to Sacred Ground Dance, and if paying in cash, please have your money in a labeled envelope with your name. Thanks! |

HS Movement Class Changes
Sarting next week, the HS Movement class will be changing to a 45-minute drop-in style class. Each week we spend the 10-15 minutes working on conditioning and increasing flexibility, then learn a combination that will increase knowledge of a technique (ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, partnering, etc.). It is open to all levels of dance, but will cater to those who have less experience or are rusty. This class will not work on or perform a recital dance. Occasionally, we hope this class will have a special featured class such as swing dance where participants will come with a partner, or a guest teacher for a hip hop night, etc.
Fridays 5:45 - 6:30, $9 per class. *Those wanting to register for the entire semester may do so and pay tuition as if it were a typical weekly class.
*NEW* HS Repertiore Class: For those wanting to perform in a recital dance, we will offer HS Repertoire class starting Feb 3rd from 6:30-7:00pm, immediately following HS Movement for just $10/month where we will work exclusively on a performance piece. Prepare yourself… that's right! Princess week 2012 is here! Pull out those Ariel and
Belle costumes for class on Jan 23-27th as we dance around to some Disney Favorites. This time instead of learning a dance and inviting parents in at the end, we will have a fun day in class doing some creative movement (think dancing at Cinderella's Ball and Jasmine's magic carpet ride). *Jen will have a few extra dress-up clothes for student who do not have any or forgot. |
